It’s about time…

Today is 02/02/2020

It’s a Palindrome that literally won’t happen for roughly another 900 years…So why not take a chance to write my first little blog post. I’ve only thought about it for forever. While other people watched the football game I am taking a moment to think about all that I am capable of as a companion & all that I hope to do.

That my main objective is to be there for the people I work with, to give them a reason to smile, to feel restored and cherished.

I come to this work from a place of healing, to understand what it means to care for someone – and their entire humanity when they trust me enough to share and open up. I like noticing people’s quirks, the things they talk about or are otherwise are reticent to share; what’s exchanged when we share breath. The container I facilitate for us to both fill and pour into together.

Maybe some of this sounds woo— but honestly I’m pretty woo. I believe in magic, the incredible ability of humans to connect and that by embracing our wild spirits we can go so far.

I came to this work and remain interested in the healing aspect of it all. I’ll share and talk about this more soon.
